Movie Magic Workshop in Collaboration with NFTS – 12th to 14th November

The Malta Film Commission in collaboration with the National Film & Television School, UK will be organizing a 3-day workshop on Movie Magic Budget & Scheduling at Malta Enterprise in G’Mangia. The course will be led by Gina Marsh, a member of the Advisory Panel and a regular tutor at NFTS.

The course will introduce the principals of creating and building a Production Budget and will allow production personnel to gain practical knowledge of the Movie Magic Budgeting software and to confidently begin producing and manipulating budgets for a range of production formats.

Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting is the recognised industry standard software for scheduling and budgeting films and TV drama.

The course will be taking place on 12th, 13th, 14th November 2014 and will cost 150 euro incl. VAT per participant.

Workshops will be conducted by Gina Marsh, a freelancer UK Line Producer in TV drama and feature films with a background of factual drama and documentary who has more than twenty years’ experience in production. She has just completed 9 episodes of Downton Abbey Series 5 [2014], currently screening on ITV1.

This intensive, highly practical course will allow for local Producers and Production Managers to create future budgets to a more professional standard.
